Well first of all, I need to apologize for being an absentee king of this blog. Life, as it tends to do, gets in the way sometimes. I'm happy to say for my family and me, life is good and that, my friends, is what's most important. On another positive note, I have finally secured a publisher for A Devil in God's Country. While I can't reveal all the details just yet, suffice it to say, I'm very excited about it.

The bad news is I will have to pull this version from the site very soon. I wanted to give anybody still reading fair warning. I will have to remove each chapter by 4-15-2014

As I look over the blog version of A Devil in God's Country, memories both good and bad overwhelm me. Don't get me wrong, I'm proud of the original work, but I can say without any doubt that the new version is much stronger. No longer constrained to a weekly deadline, the story took on an entirely new life. The coming published version features, a new beginning, expanded and polished throughout, a new improved ending and the much asked for epilogue.

I want to take this time to thank each and every one of you who has stopped by over the years to read my story. It means the world to me. And who knows, maybe we can do this one more time.

J.P.
